Autism Research Carnival
A bit of a cop-out with this post as I’m in the middle of marking so you’re not getting your usual musings and commentary on the studies. Sorry.
Recently there has been loads of papers and research on Autism, the effects of it and the changing theories on the way autistic people view and perceive the world. Some of which I’ve spoken about here already. So, for your reading pleasure, the autism research bonanza:
- New Scientist’s Short Sharp Science talk about Autism and visual perception
- Science Daily have an article on how Autistic children have trouble with ordinary words
- More from Science Daily on how Autistic Children Can Gain Significantly In IQ Through Early Intervention
- Finally Imaging Study Provides Clues About Social Deficits of Autistic Children from HULIQ.com.
If you’re marking Jamie doesn’t that mean we will have more posts than usual?
Well, I have posted every day this week already! ;)
